Mumbai van de Moerhoeve is the perfect example of a cross that works thanks to uncompromising selection for performance. He not only has Diamant de Semilly, Nabab de Rêve, Chin Chin and Quidam de Revel as sires, but also a prestigious line of dams.

Mumbai van de Moerhoeve was trained slowly and competed at the age of six under Nick Vrins / BEL in the international youth tours of Valkenswaard / NED and Bondheiden / BEL. He was also ranked sixth overall in the prestigious stallion competition series in the Netherlands. At the age of 7, Christian Kukuk , his current rider, took over the reins and led MUMBAI to the final of the World Championships for 7-year-olds in 2019. The rest we know: a year of work in Riesenbeck in 2020 and the big day: One of the few World Cup stages of the year in CSI5* and the triumph of this young 8-year-old stallion. Mumbaï, who has been with Ludger Beerbaum since 2019, scored a major coup at the end of 2020 by winning the World Cup event at the CSI5* in Riadh under Christian Kukuk .
